30 Adoption Portraits in 30 Days

A very dear friend to me, who has also struggled with IF, sent me the below link to 30 stories about adoption. I have never read anything more profound than this collection and was truly, truly moved. I hope you will take a few moments to read one or two stories.

I celebrate the beautiful way adoption is brought out of the shadows through the words of mothers, birth mothers, and adopted children. I was very touched.

I have not been able to finish reading through them all yet, however the below story particularly touched my heart. I can just see this beautiful little child, for whom the world had failed at every turn, rushing to put her little shoes on the wrong feet so she could go home that day. Every child is precious, every child is a gift, and every single child deserves a home and a mother.
