Infertility and the dream of motherhood: Is the dream too big to believe in?

The presumption, at all times and under all circumstances, should always be that you are good enough, worthy enough, and lovable enough. And that you are exactly the right kind of person, in the right place, at the right time. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been instilled with such dreams in the first place.

There can be times during the process of becoming a mother when we doubt our dreams,  when we feel like the world is not big enough to hold all of the wants and desires that push on us like the thumb pushing a tack into a corkboard.

Yet, it is. It is more than big enough.

You were given these dreams, the deep calling to mother, for a reason. The dream is not a wasted fantasy, it is a seed sown with time, patience, trust, and openness.

You are good enough, worthy enough, and lovable enough. And you are exactly the right kind of person, in the right place, at the right time. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been instilled with such dreams in the first place.

DREAM BIG!
